Las Vegas Strip FAQ's

The Las Vegas Strip is miles / km from Sahara Avenue at the North end to Russell Road at the South end.

Although possible, walking from Harry Reid International Airport to the strip is not recommended. On arrival it might look as though you can walk out of the terminal and right into the Luxor hotel. However the northwest runway sits between the Airport terminal and the Strip. Getting around that runway is a mile walk to the closest hotel (MGM Grand or Tropicana).

The Mid strip and South strip has more concentration of resorts and seem to have more activities than the North strip. However with the recent opening of Resorts World Las Vegas in the North Strip, this mega resort is a Vegas must see.

There are no free shuttles on the Strip but there are free trams that connect a few hotels. Riding the Las Vegas Deuce is the least expensive way to sight-see along the Vegas Strip.
