There are three types of roulette dealt in downtown Las Vegas, which includes the Fremont Street Experience. Those games are single zero roulette, double zero roulette and triple zero roulette. 

Live roulette is dealt at 11 of the 12 casinos in downtown Las Vegas. Main Street Station is the exception. That casino reopened in September 2021 without a live roulette table. We counted 31 roulette tables in downtown Las Vegas and the Fremont Street area in September 2022.

Downtown Las Vegas single zero roulette

Plaza is home to the only single zero roulette table in downtown Las Vegas. It is the first table in the pit that you will see when entering the casino from either of the two Main Street entrances. 

The minimum bet starts at $15. If it is busy, it can go up to $25. The house edge for single zero roulette is 2.7%.

There are no differences between playing single zero roulette at Plaza and the double and triple zero wheels found around downtown Las Vegas and Fremont Street. Players will need to visit the Las Vegas Strip or Red Rock Resort to play European Roulette, which has la partage, meaning players get half of even money bets are returned when zero is called. The minimum bet is usually $100 or more at these European Roulette tables. 

Downtown Las Vegas double zero roulette minimum bets

There are 11 casinos in downtown Las Vegas that deal live roulette. All offer at least one table of double zero. The minimum bets that we found during the day earlier this fall are shown below. These may go up during busier hours. The house edge for all but one double zero roulette bet is 5.26%. The basket bet, which is 0, 00, 1, 2 and 3, has a house edge of 7.89%.

Downtown Las Vegas triple zero roulette minimum bets

Triple zero roulette has a house edge of 7.69%. It first appeared at Venetian in 2016. Today, every Las Vegas Strip casino deals triple zero roulette. Luckily, this game is only dealt at three downtown Las Vegas casinos. All are located on the Fremont Street Experience. 

The minimum bet for triple zero roulette is usually $5 at Golden Nugget. It is typically $10 at Binion’s and Four Queens. No other downtown casinos deal triple zero roulette.

Downtown Las Vegas electronic roulette

There are 11 downtown Las Vegas casinos with at least one version of electronic roulette. Some are on stadium gaming devices. There are a few multiplayer machines, as well as some heads up ones. Four Queens is the only casino in the Fremont Street Experience area where we did not find any video roulette. 

Electronic roulette usually plays like the game at an online casino. The wheel is often digital with a random number generator is used to determine the winner. Some roulette machines and stadium setups use a live wheel and ball. The only electronic part of these versions is the screen where the bets are made. 

These are the stadium roulette games that are available in downtown Las Vegas. All are double zero.

Heads-up roulette machines allow the player to play as fast as they wish. All games below have standard payouts, except at Fremont. In that game, straights win 31/1, and splits pay 15/1. These should be 35/1 and 17/1, respectively. It is the only single zero wheel out of all video roulette in downtown Las Vegas. It is better for players that wish to place wagers outside of straights and splits. Other players are better off at double zero machines.
